Aw, man... I was hoping for more discussion about the free comic book day titles, though I guess that's going to come after. I think I heard someone in the podcast kind of snicker about the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers title... but I gotta be honest, that's my most anticipated free comic. I'm a huge Power Rangers fan from way back, and back then all the Power Rangers comics were absolute crap: bad writing, awful art, etc. I saw a preview of the comic, and the characters actually look like the characters from the 90s TV show. I'm super pumped that we finally get a decent comic with huge nostalgia cred. Heh. That was me who snickered. Not because I was making fun of it, but because I have a friend who is still REALLY into them and just the other day was going on and on about how awesome they are. He even started doing what he calls "the Putty Dance" while talking them up. I had that mental image quickly enter my minds eye and had to stifle a laugh. I'm totally cool with the Power Rangers. Have an awesome Free Comic Book Day!

So the one thing that was not brought up in the show or in this thread yet is the marvel and DC app were uneffected by this change
Do you think it is just a matter of time before that happens too?
How do these app work do they just licence the engine and can whatever similar to game developer using unreal
Can they pull there comics from comixology main app or is them using the engine part of the deal
If I am buying from marvel website directly is amazon getting a cut or not?

Great show as usual guys. The one thing I wanted to mention about the kind of lack of excitement for the Justice League announcement was that I think we all saw it coming. I loved Man of Steel and so I am all in for a Snyderversie but the annoucment to me was kind if a " well that was expected" kind of thing. We knew with the people who are set for Batman Superman that they were going for this.
I understand the argument that they should have followed the marvel formula and built towards this. Hard to argue with the success marvel has had and I love there cinematic universe but I think Warner Brothers had a choice to follow that or go try something new. I give them credit for trying to go about it in a different way. Like anything this could totally blow up in their face and bomb but I am pulling for them. It's unfortunate that some people who dislike Man of Steel seem to be rooting for them to fall on their face.
I think Bobby nailed it on the head with how peoples opinion of Man of Steel effects their opinion of new DC announcements. I love Man of Steel so I have been excited by these announcements but I can understand how those who disliked it are concerned. I hope Batman Superman can somehow make us all happy in the best way.
Keep up the great work guys.
