So Jason Aaron announced via twitter today that he is finished his work on Amazing X-men and is done with the X-line of books for now. I'm sad to see him go, I really felt his time on Wolverine and the X-men was one of the better X-books in a while. I would highly recommend checking out Amazing X-men #6 if you are partial to Nightcrawler. I'm going to be really sad when his epic run on Thor ends. Was anyone else a fan of Aaron's work?

Yeah, his run on Thor has been outstanding. I wasn't paying attention to Wolverine and the X-men, so I regrettably missed that run. I did read Amazing, because Nightcrawler. I feel like I showed up to the party just as it was ending.
However, I'm looking forward to Original Sin now. I trust Aaron, so I'll be on board for his event.

His run on Wolverine and the X-Men is one the most entertaining X-Men books ive ever read, so damn good! I haven't read his run on Amazing but i'm definitely going to read it in the near future.

When is his final issue of Amazing? His run was from 1-6 on Amazing X-men, last week was the last issue for him.

Oh, wow. That's kind of weird. It seemed like this was the beginning of a new chapter for him on the X-books, but I guess it was more like a last hurrah. I'll miss him. I don't like any of the other X-titles nearly as much as Aaron's.

I'm really going to miss Aaron's X-Men stories. Sad that he didn't finish his Amazing X-Men run but he's a busy guy so I guess something had to give. His Wolverine and the X-Men run as a whole in my opinion will definitely go down as a classic.
