What does everyone think of Action Comics
the runs so far for the new 52 are...
Grant Morrison (#0,1-18)
Andy Diggle/Tony S. Daniel (#19-21)
Scott Lobdell (#22-24)
and Greg Pak (#25-??)
Personally love Pak's run which has the best Lana Lang i have ever read and while i'm watching smallville it keeps me calm thinking about this version of the character. Kuder's art is also great with every issue.

The Pak run is definitely my favorite. Love the writing and the art. They show off Superman's powers expertly, and I feel like Pak understands what makes Superman the character that he should be better than anyone else that has been involved with this title.

Have only read the Pak issues. Hadn't heard good things about action prior to that. I was a fan of what he did with Hulk back in the day so figured I'd give his action a shoot. Glad I did it's been great so far. Unfortunately I can't say the same about his Batman Superman series. I am a couple issues behind but so far it's been a big disappointment for me. I home it turns around. I love this characters so I am give that series a way longer leash than I normally would. Having said that if it stays the way it is I'll probably be dropping it.

I liked Grant Morrison's run but you needed to read it twice just to understand it, and it was 19 issues long. It should have been an Elseworld instead of a reboot.

#41 was good. the idea of him being exposed makes sense and I'm wondering how they handle it

#41 was good. the idea of him being exposed makes sense and I'm wondering how they handle it I've been enjoying Pak's Action run since it started (it's the only one I've read) but issue #41 left me really cold. The fact that the book references events from Superman #41 & #42 (neither of which is out) really took me out of the story, and it appears that's going to be where the actual "status quo" change happens. So now I either have to pick up a book I'm not reading or hope that next issue explains what happened to Superman. If Pak's run continues to assume the reader is buying both Superman titles, I may wind up getting none of them.

I see what you're saying but I guess I didn't have an issue with just jumping in since I knew the idea of what was happening.

My only disappointment is the monochromatic Superman/Ninja fight in the snow was limited to a digital preview. I picked up Action #41 anticipating that. Oh well, I have no doubt it will be in the collected edition.

I def think they will be in the trades though

Because I literally sat at my LCS going through every #2 Convergence tie-in looking for it, and I feel like I looked through all of them but they may have sold out of one or two of them.
