New series that starts this week, Image of course, creator-owned I believe, by Joe Keatinge and Leila del Duca. From what i've seen and heard about it, preview pages and some extra stuff they've posted on tumblr and whatnot, i'm expecting great things. Or at the very least they're dropping the right keywords in interviews (like Indiana Jones, Saga, and Miyazaki).
Anyone else excited to see what this is all about?

The last thing my pull list needs is another Image title, but I'll find it hard to resist picking it up, especially when the premise sounds so cool. Sounds like it could be a really fun book.

Ill be giving this series a shot as well. Seemed like a cool premise but not too far out there for my taste.

Loved this first issue. Ended a bit abruptly, but the art is beautiful (and OH GOD that Emma Rios variant cover), and i'm very much looking forward to the next one. Definitely gets a spot in my pull list for the foreseeable future.

I thought the extra comics in the back were kind of odd, but entertaining.

The odd comics in the back were so odd that they were good in their own way. I couldnt help but think that some sort of comic Robot Chicken style but with somewhat of a connecting and intertwining story would be such a sweet idea! Kind of ala Mind MGMT with the side story going on in the margins but more crazy and odd like the Side Bar comic

I picked up #1 and #2 this week and I'm sold. The father/daughter relationship really gets to me. The back comics are so quirky and fun!

Gave the first issue a shot, but it didn't convince me to pick up another. It wasn't bad, but I have so many titles so a comic really has to catch me to add it to my list.

What has everyone thought of this series up to issue #3? Issue #2 took me totally off guard. After reading it I was ready to drop the title because it was just all over the place. I immediately read issue #3 and felt a draw to the characters. Maybe this is a book I give one more shot to see where it goes. The art is unique and the story is just crazy. What thoughts have you guys had?

I'm still loving it. It's very unique, in good ways. I had to do a triple take at the flashback scene where she meets her best friend (who i'm guessing started out as a boy but ended up as a woman? Which is just fine by me, whatever floats your boat, but definitely threw my brain for a loop because there was some confusion in how they revealed that) when they were kids. And there was some serious gore in this one that shocked me, but at the same time there were also a few gorgeous pages, and i'm still loving the weird little backup stories. There are a couple of books that i've dropped lately (Guardians of The Galaxy) or am thinking of dropping (Merc Sea), but this isn't one of them. Can't wait for the next one.

The first issue threw me for a loop when the ghost ninjas attacked but I was like alright, lets see where this goes. Then issue 2 when the Lion Gang came out of nowhere to fight the giant robot, rock, tank.......Bobby said that this is Joe Keating unleashed. Im sticking with it out of pure awe and wonder lol

Anyone still reading this? I've loved the first arc, the world building has been great and the art really compliments it. Really looking forward to issue 7 in December as the book has the scope to go anywhere.

Oh i'm very much still reading and loving this book and telling everyone I know to pick it up. It's a Top 5 Book On the Shelf right now, for me, definitely. It's so weird and funny and vital and kinetic; brilliant-original stuff

I haven't snagged the latest issue, but I've loved all the others, although the first issue was a little confusing.
