Not only would this be a catastrophe--but I'm worried this could mean Fraction's leaving Marvel in a big way, considering the fiascos with FF/Fantastic Four and Inhuman coupled with this.

From the words of Matt Fraction this shit looks to be coming to an end.
Fraction stated, "“I think if you're reading the book you see where it's going, and I'm getting kind of close to the end of this particular story,” said Fraction. “There will be more, but it feels like the whole Tracksuit Dracula story is kind of boiling now, and I want to make sure that I stick the landing. So right now I just want to focus on that. I spent a lot of time with Inhuman, and now to be relieved of that is, I have to re-get my bearings. It happened right before the holidays. I'm talking with some folks there about what to do next. There's been some intriguing offers and ideas, and there are still characters I have on my to-do list. So I don't know right now. I just want to stick the landing on this Hawkeye thing, and we'll go from there.”
Hawkeye is about to wrap up and he is moving on to primarially creator owned and maybe one Marvel book.

Well i certainly don't hope so but it doesn't surprise me if it happens, It looks like Fraction wants to more indie stuff right now. Just hope he can end this book and his story in the right way.

I think there's no doubt about that. And I guess if he's out of story, he's out of story, but I really wish it wasn't so. He didn't definitively say the series was ending, or that he wasn't going to do Hawkeye anymore. He just said he didn't know what he wants to do after the story wraps up.

Much as I've loved the series this sounds both likely and (I hate to say it) probably even welcome at this point. They're quite clearly struggling to bring out a book with the exceptionally high creative and production standards Hawkeye has consistently shown as a monthly book. I'd much rather see them end the current storyline on a high and finish the series than watch it slowly spiral downhill.

Ah man. If this really is the end for Fraction/Aja/Hollingsworth/Wu/et al's run I will be bummed. However, as other posters have already said, I am ok with them coming to a conclusion rather than letting things go on without direction and decline in quality. Similar to the recent end of Young Avengers - sucks but the creative team told the story they wanted and were able to wrap things up neatly.
Interesting to see that Annie Wu is solicited as artist for this one even though it doesn't look like Kate Bishop will be back (and Aja's name is on the cover shown).
Guess I better find a copy of Rio Bravo!

Good to know - as much as I have been enjoying Wu's art, it would seem off not to have Aja conclude the run.
