Anyone picking these up??? I read the first two Turok issues and found them a little light on content but really enjoyed Magnus #1. I'm looking forward to Waid/Neil Edwards on Doctor Spektor. Solar Man is written by Frank Barbiere (five ghosts) and drawn by Joe Bennett. Dynamite's putting suprisingly good creators on these.
My local shop ordered a thousand copies of Magnus so they got their own fancy cover. I know people rail on variants but it was kinda cool to have a special cover.

I've been reading them thus far. I haven't checked out Turok yet but I've gotten both issues of Magnus and the single issue of Solar so far and absolutely loving them. I am really excited for Doctor Spektor. I'm happy to be getting these as they come out, it's like it's own contained universe and it's been great so far. I expect them to do some type of crossover at some point and can't wait.

Anyone else grab Doctor Spektor yesterday? I liked it a lot - I think the premise of Doctor Spektor being a celebrity instead of hunting these supernatural creatures in the shadows is interesting.

I'll be interviewing Fred Van Lente (Archer & Armstrong, Magnus: Robot Fighter) later today, if you have any questions for him let me know, I'll ask him.
