talkingcomicbooks.com/2014/02/20/tv-time-21914/This week's TV Time had a few interesting stories, wonder what all of you thought about the news: -Jada Pinkett-Smith joining Gotham as a brand new original character -Gotham potentially taking place in an ambiguous time frame where cell phones and other modern technology may be possible -The announcement of Star Wars: Rebels -Ultimate Spider-Man, Avengers Assemble and Hulk: Agents of S.M.A.S.H all getting renewed and becoming more closely linked -Arrow renewed for a third season -Stephen Amell starting a behind the scenes YouTube channel. Thoughts?

Definitely not surprised with the news that Arrow got a third season. It's doing insane things with the DC property and my only hope is that they don't run out of ways to please the fanbase too quickly. I'm kind of hoping the eventual showdown between Arrow and Slade gets pushed into later seasons.
Gotham is shaping up to be an interesting show and the idea of having more modern technology makes sense. It's just easier to make a more modern show than trying to maintain the technologies and dress of a period piece.

I really hope they pattern Gotham after the Gotham Central comic.
Arrow is, IMHO, the best comic based TV that has been put together so far.
