Whilst I barely watch pro wrestling these days, I do still play the WWE video games, and the 2K influence has got me looking forward to this year's iteration. Plus the addition of a lifted career mode from the NBA 2K series is incredibly promising, and I'm looking forward to hearing more about it.
Are there also any fans of the following as well?
1. The Fire Pro Wrestling series
2. The Total Extreme Wrestling series
I also read the book National Wrestling Alliance: The Untold Story Of The Monopoly That Strangled Pro Wrestling by Tim Hornbaker. It's very informative about the collaboration of promoters that would become the NWA and their monopolisation of the territories, their battle with the US government in violation of the Sherman Antitrust Act, the infighting amongst the members and finally, the declining power that would give way to the rise of WWF/E. But it's also a dry read as well, so it's best to read in small doses.

Don't know either of those promotions but I have read that book, fascinating stuff, lots of figures with attendance & gates but was a good read. Loved all the stories about Muchnik, Barnette, Gulas, etc.

But i have made a tradition out of buying the new WWE game every year, and the new one looks amazing. Can't wait for that one!

Its already been more than a month ago since i signed up for the Network bit i'm still loving it.Im watching at least one show every day(mostly during dinner), doesn't matter if its old(ECW, WCW Nitro)new(NXT...that Takeover show last week was AMAZING!)or shows like Countdown and Monday Night War.
I only hope that the new Raw and Smackdown shows will someday be live(or will be added the same week)on the Network, instead of being added a month later.

I'd have to agree with you, the network has an amazing amount of footage and there's something on there for any taste or mood. It's also helped my wallet too as constantly buying blu rays soon adds up. Im really hoping they can secure footage from some of the Japanese promotions in the future.

Anybody watch Night of Champions last night? Overall, the in-ring performances were great, but the storylines were mixed. But the Network is awesome. I'm really enjoying going back through episodes of Nitro and ECW PPVs since I missed most of those growing up. As the Hulkster says, it's just $9.99!

Just watched it, and thought it was pretty great.I liked most of the matches, the title changes, the ending of the main event, and the continuation of the Rollins/Ambrose feud, which in my opinion is one of the best things in WWE at the moment(along with NXT).

So, Hell in a Cell.Wasnt really looking forward to this one, but hey i'm paying for the Network every month, might as well make use of it.
The show wasn't bad, not at all, but i thought most of it was pretty predictable, and i would've liked it better if the champ was on the show. I liked the Ziggler vs Cesaro and Miz vs Sheamus matches(DAMIEN MIZDOW!), its always good seeing the Dust brothers against the Usos in a tag team match, and Orton vs Cena was predictable but pretty good. But the best match for me was Ambrose vs Rollins, those guys just have a great chemistry together.Sure the ending was pretty weird, but i think it may result in a great new feud for Ambrose.

I heard that the last gen versions of this game that are coming out this week aren't supposed to be all that great. Now i can only hope that the PS4 version that i'm picking up next month won't dissapoint as well.
