well im studying Aerospace Engineering and the Avionics lecture is really really boring yeah Royal Rumble is defnitely exciting with all the rumors floating around, and yeah WK10 was awesome as well, i havent been following njpw regularly, just a few shows here and there but after WK10 and NYD i defnitely plan on tuning in more regularly, there just so much good stuff out there right now and not enough time. NXT, LU, ROH, NJPW and hopefully the WWE will also pick up again now that mania season starts, i definitely like what they are doing with the rumble this year. also we finally got the network so there are hours of old PPV's to be watched

Mania season is gonna be interesting now that Cena's out for 6 months and will miss it. Wonder if they'll clear Bryan now, seeing as everyone else is injured.

Bryan wants to be cleared real bad, I don't think they're going to anytime soon, but you never know.
Anyway, Cena's injury sucks, couldn't have come at a worse time, right before Mania, and with so many people being injured already.Very curious to see how they're going to handle all of this.

I liked this article that i read on the Talking Comics site: talkingcomicbooks.com/?p=39431
Its funny how many comparisons there really are between wrestling and comics, when you think about it.Which is probably the one of the reasons i love both of them so much.

Thanks (that was my article) and yeah I think pro wrestling is often overlooked and rarely included in discussions of pop culture/geek loves but it has so many things in common with comics and movies and tv let alone all the people who are closet/casual wrestling fans.
Stephanie and the gang are trying to get a lot more content on the site as you might have seen and I'd love to see more/regular wrestling related articles up. This thread seems pretty popular so I see no reason why it cant be called up (*sigh*) to the main site.
Anyone have any ideas or things they'd like to see/contribute to on the website?

Awesome to hear you wrote it!Keep up the good work!
I for one would love to see more wrestling related stuff on the site, and It would get me to visit the site more often.
As for what that stuff could be, I think something that tells people who either like wrestling or want to get into wrestling what comics to read, which podcasts to listen to, and most importantly, what shows to watch(NXT!Lucha Underground!NJPW!) could be interesting.A recommendations section, or something like that.
That's all i can think of for right now, but i'll let you know once i think of something else.

Time for the Rumble!
I know it's probably going to suck like the last couple of years, but the Rumble has always been one of my favourite matches.
My pick for this year would have to be either Reigns or Triple H, to set up a match between the two at Mania, which isn't exactly exciting to me, but looking at all the injuries right now there isn't much else they can go with.

great ppv, exept for a little lull towards the end of the Rumble match and i really hated the decision to exclude Reigns during what felt like most of the RR match just to come back like he did, really turned the whole crowd

Great show!
Thought all the matches before the Rumble were good, especially Owens/Ambrose was a very entertaining match, also liked seeing Kalisto become US champ again, I like him and I hope he gets a bit of a run with the title now.
But the Rumble match was my favourite match on the show. Finally after a couple of bad Rumble matches we get another great one, in my opinion.Which is really impressive, I think, when you look at all the injuries.
As you can probably guess looking at my previous post I marked the fuck out when AJ came out!Looks like we're probably going to get an Owens/AJ feud out of this, which is exactly what I want. Also went crazy when Zayn eliminated KO.Great stuff!
There are some nitpicks though, don't like the whole Wyatt family/Lesnar feud and I didn't like the way Brock was eliminated, I thought he should have gone back in the ring after he was eliminated and destroy Bray, instead of just leaving, won't say it made him look weak, but it didn't make him look as strong as he usually does either.
And i thought Reigns was gone for too long after going trough the table, didn't like him returning at the end, but at least he didn't win the match.Don't mind Trips winning at all, he probably isn't gonna be champion for a long time anyway.

the Aj/Owens/Zayn part was my favourite part of the rumble, they are my favourite male wrestlers in WWE right now, im torn about the wyatts lesnar thing, in theory i love the feud, i definitely loved the Strownam/lesnar parts, so them going over would be awesome for them and the promotion, because i love the idea of them as a big scary heel faction who just pick out people and desrtoy them. problem is they lost a lot of credibility in the past with them loosing almost every feud they were in, and if they loose this one again, which i think they will becuase brock effin lesnar, i think they are done for good.

This was my favorite PPV since last year's Wrestlemania. They have mostly been lacking, but I believe that the WWE more than made up for it with the Royal Rumble. I was a little shocked (and thrilled!) that they didn't let Reigns retain the title, but now he is on his road to redemption for Mania. Oh boy.
AJ Styles (as well as Aeries and the other NJPW acquisitions) = the best thing that has happened to the company in ages. That pop Styles received! And the fact that his shirts on the webstore sold out immediately speaks volumes. The company seems to be making huge moves right now, I just hope that a lot of the younger talent won't get lost in the shuffle like creative so often tends to do.
