Wow, I never would have thought this up... I love both of these series. I'm exited to the see the artistic interpretations of the characters in each universe. I know Image Comics doesn't have a shared universe, which is mostly a good thing, but I hope this inspires other crazy/zany crossovers.

I love both these series and the crazy thing is like you said Image doesnt have a shared universe yet these two stories make absolute perfect sense crossing over. I'm really excited to see the art in both books for these. Image just knows what it takes to get into my wallet!

I'm so pumped. I'm just a little bit confused about it though. Is it going to be two issues, one in the Revival style art, and one in the Chew style? Or are those just variant covers?

I believe there will be two covers, Cover A (Chew style) and Cover B (Revival style) kind of thing as this is a one-shot. I haven't read Revival (had to wiki it to know the basic concept), yet from what I know it looks like a great idea. I can't wait for the craziness that will come out from this.

One shot or not (it may very well be considering its 5 dollar price tag) it's shaping up to be something really good. Both are detective stories with supernatural elements and both could really play to each others strengths. I'm dying to get my hands on this and luckily it comes out right around my birthday.

As a big fan of both these books (although I trade wait so I'm behind) I was looking forward to this book and while it was a fun read I'm not sure they really go together. But as a one shot I enjoyed the mash up and a chance to get a little more of each story.
I'm interested to hear more thoughts? :0)

Finally read this and the Revival guys definitely did work on this. Chew is always crazy and fun, but the Revival guys had to bring some 'reality' to Tony Chu and they did it. So worth your $5.

I haven't read Chew do you guys recommend it?
I'm late to the Revival party but after buying the 1st trade I then bought the next 3 and am now buying it monthly but that damn 5th trade will go so well with the other 4.
Loving this book so much! totally obsessed because the story & art just seem in total harmony.

If you like sight gags, silly jokes and over the top cartoon violence, it's for you. It's hilarious.
It also has a good family story buried in it.
