I am really enjoying this event so far and it's tie ins. Interested to see how this effect the over all DCU when it's all done especially the Justice League books and Nightwing as well.

More than anything I'm intrigued to see how Nightwing ends up. His arc has been one of the more fascinating elements of this entire event. I'll be interested as well to see how the Justice League of Canada gets set up

Forever Evil and Infinity have been my first major events and both have been better than I was expecting given the crossover apathy that a lot seem to have. The number of tie-ins are silly but the main books are really well done.
Forever Evil #4 was fantastic in terms of spectacle. Very intrigued about Nightwing's role, and the Ultraman, Owlman, Super Woman dynamic.
Furthermore: I know it was at the end of Trinity War but how short-changed was Sea King in terms of exposure in the New 52?

I do wonder how this 14 part Blight event will tie-in. Seems to be ending awfully close to when Forever Evil is. Wonder what sort of ramifications it might have on the main series.

I'm only picking up Constantine and Pandora at the moment and won't be pushed in to picking the other tie-ins up as it seems like a wholly weak premise they've tacked on to the side of Forever Evil that could have little to no impact on the rest of the books.
My biggest problem with the New 52 (if pushed) is that The Dark titles (Swamp Thing, Constantine, Animal Man, etc) haven't been nearly as dark as you would expect. I know it's a shared universe and that they would have left the titles at Vertigo if they wanted the same flavour but go back and read the first arch of Hellblazer or the first appearance of Constantine in Swamp Thing and the stories were proper Horror. The initial Swamp Thing and Animal Man issues were there in terms of Horror but that has been toned down recently and what I've read of Blight so far just seems more of this spell-casting and no impact stuff that Constantine seems to be made up of at the moment.

Exactly. It seems to do more harm to these series than good. When was the last time Phantom Stranger had his own real story? Or Pandora for that matter? Both have gotten shoehorned into events for a long time now and it really deflated my interest in those books. Same with Constantine and Justice League Dark. JLD was on my top comics of 2012 list. Now? Wouldn't touch that book with a ten foot pole. If you're going to raise the price to 4 dollars, make it worth my while, otherwise you get dropped. And yeah...they really need to work on that. Then again, when was the last time The Edge was edgy, The Dark dark or Young Justice anything except Teen Titans...

Agreed. I still don't think the Pandora book has stepped out of a crossover yet hehe

Agreed. I still don't think the Pandora book has stepped out of a crossover yet hehe Nope. But it better soon otherwise it'll be the DC book that they kept around only because of necessity, not because of quality. And nobody wants that.

I really like the serious so far. It's one of my favorite books in my pull list every time it comes out.
With that being said; It's a little bit confusing for me, because I've never really read any DC stuff except for Batman. So the Arkham War stuff makes sense to me obviously. When reading Forever Evil, as awesome as it is, seems a little bit jumbled.
It's times like these that I wish I read more DC than Marvel.
This is the first event like this that I've really read though. Lovin' it so far.

I went back and read trinity was and all of JLA. It really helped me to understand the over all thing and I give Geoff Johns a ton of credit for the small drops info and stuff that lead to this. Really something and I now have those books on my pulllist.

I love, this series! It feels like what an even should feel like, and I don't think there has been a weak issue yet. I'm dying to see the aftermath with Nightwing (please don't die), and I'm really hoping that an Earth 3/Crime Syndicate Book spins out of this!

can I say my favourite parts of forever evil is Rogues rebellion and Argus.... so very very good... bring on a rogues book!!!! I agree I have enjoyed all 3 of the tie-in minis. They add so much but at the same are required reading for those that don't want to read them.
