I'll pick this up eventually(because Rucka!)but since i'm not that interested in Cyclops and i want to get caught up on some on X-Men and Marvel Cosmic books first i'll wait a while.

Really annoyed, got into reading #3 and half the book seems to have been replaced with some stupid story about a pig spiderman and duckvon doom. Not impressed.

My copy of Cyclops #3 had the middle part of the comic missing and in it's place Ultimate FF. Was really looking forward to reading it, and was the first Marvel book I started to read so it annoyed me somewhat the majority of it was missing.

I'm sure they would swap it out for a good copy. This issue was easily one of the best of the week.

Yeah, it's from the LCS, looks like the whole print run got messed up so gonna have to wait. Seems like it happened to quite a few UK stores.

I think it's a really great comic, but with such huge lag time between issues this might be one to wait for the trade on

Issue 3 was the best one yet in my opinion. So many good father-son moments, great stuff! Also can't say enough good things about the amazing art. Really gonna miss this creative team...

I'm also a little deflated by the news that Rucka and Dauterman are leaving, and the huge delay between issues. But, hey, this is a great story with great art. Specifically #3: The talk around the campfire is a talk I've been waiting to hear forever: Scott addressing how horrible and hurtful Chris leaving him and Alex was. It's also so cool the way Corsair's resurrection was explained, and I love the way that their continued survival hangs in the balance because of it.
Only two Rucka issues to go. I hope the new team will keep something resembling this level of quality going.

Sadly, I think I'm going to remove this book from my pull list once the creative team changes. It's not that I don't think the new folks are GOOD at what they do, but the current team is the reason I picked this up...well, that and I'm a big Cyke fan. Regardless of my love for the character though, I just don't think the he needs an ongoing. So going from an A-list creative team to a B or C list...? Yeah, I have to draw the line.

I have not really been a fan of the whiny, brooding, spoiled Scott Summers. This seems like an attempt to further explore a character that has been well explored already over the last 30 years or so. No reason to do so. Try an ongoing with a character that hasn't had one in a while of before.

Even though I love Greg Rucka's writing I wasn't keen on this as I've never been a big Cyclops guy, knew nothing about the Spacejammers, and held to the narrow view that all space-based stories are generally rubbish... however... this book has been delightful so far. Well worth picking up.
Bit gutted about the creative team changing though. I'll give it a few issues after the switch.
I understand the apprehension to keep books like this on a pull list once the A-Team goes. Same with Moon Knight. Marvel can't charge $3.99 for almost every book and expect people to take a chance once the creative team goes. It does prove that more than ever the creative team is of more interest to the majority of readers than the character. Not exclusively but how else do you get people to pick up a Moon Knight or Elektra en-masse?

After reading issue #6 this will be the end of the line for this book for me. The shift in tone and art was very unsatisfying...

After reading issue #6 this will be the end of the line for this book for me. The shift in tone and art was very unsatisfying... I was about to pick this up cause i thought Rucka was writing at least one more issue, but after finding out that the creative team has changed and reading this i think im gonna skip it.Oh well, at least i get to spend four dollars on something else this week!
