I really liked that 1st issue and am pumped for the 2nd one to come out tomorrow. I like the cover art a lot more than the interior art, but I wouldn't categorize it as a negative. It may just take some getting used to. I'm a huge Charles Soule fan and it looks like he's really hitting his stride.

Just read the second one and while i didn't love it as much as the first one, i thought this was a pretty good issue too. People that did not like the art in the first issue aren't gonna like it in this one either i think. I've got to admit, while i do appreciate the art, i was some times a bit annoyed by the way the faces were drawn in this issue, especially the eyes. But i did like the part with Hellcat, even though i know nothing about the character.

Oh, that darn Hell Cat!
He who is certain he knows the ending of things when he is only beginning them is either extremely wise or extremely foolish; no matter which is true, he is certainly an unhappy man, for he has put a knife in the heart of wonder.
I'm liking this book more and more, issue #2 was so much fun! And I love the plot idea behind issue#3! I think we are getting Matt (Murdock) involved at some point? (I believe I saw Charles Soule mentioning either using him eventually for a court case or that he wants to do that)

I loved issue 1 but was iffy on the art, read issue 2 and loved it once again and the art has grown on me. Some of those pages looked so nice it was amazing. This one's been added to the pull list now.
The writing on this book is absolutely hilarious and whimsical and witty and pitch perfect in a very Fraction-Hawkeye/FF sort of way. If only the art wasn't so wonky :/ It's a crying shame. Only a hairsbreadth from being good enough to add to my stack; with a different artist, it'd easily be one of my favorite new books.
