All New Marvel Now! cleaned up!
First time reading The Punisher, take my money! Loki: Agent of Asgard was compelling funny and "got" the new version of him and oh Ms Marvel! Book of the week for sure! Humorous, relatable and amazing artwork. Loved her family, loved her supporting cast but the best bit of the issue was all the background gags I guess you can call them especially around the party scene. Oh and I'm quite happy abou the Inhuman aspect of it, makes sense and justifies the whole terrigen-mist thing

Personally for me this week the top books are New Avengers, Loki: Agent of Asgard, Archer and Armstrong #0, and surprisingly the Joker's Daughter one shot.

Action comics is really really Good. Every issue I like this book more and more. I've said in other threads that's if the new creative team on the main book is half this good, it'll be awesome. Besides that I really liked ms marvel and the punisher.

Ms Marvel was a great book! Kamala will be a great character! Forever Evil was also a good read and I'm glad to see Sinestro back...also, did anyone thought "Doctor Who" with the last page?
And finally loved the Green Lantern/Red Lanters flip book...and I'm finally getting used to Guy's new look lol. (also I keep forgetting that Kara in the New 52 is for the most part unknown to the rest of the hero community)

Loved Ms. Marvel, New Avengers, Red Lanterns/Green Lantern, All New Invaders, The Star Wars and I picked up my first issue of Cap in a while and enjoyed it (I quit reading when Romita Jr. was on it). I also did not know Kara was an unknown in New 52 still, going to start reading Red Lanterns now after this week.

Only bought two new books this week, Superior Foes #8 and Ms. Marvel #1. Wanted to buy Loki and the new Lazarus but i'm gonna wait with those.
Superior Foes was hillarious as always and after seeing the last page i'm excited to see what happens next. And like a lot of people i really liked Ms. Marvel, great character, good supporting cast and something different. And that art is amazing especially the colors i think.

My 2 were the punisher and ms marvel, though superior foes and black widow were very good as well. I tries this wolverine #1 and didn't like it, swamp thing was a tad long winded and the rest of my books were good but didn't quite compete with the 4 I mentioned.

Ms Marvel was superb, Mighty Avengers was excellent, Rover Red Charlie was unsettlingly good, Trillium continued to be good, and after thinking about dropping Hinterkind, I'm glad I'm didn't as the last two issues have been great. I've never been a huge Superman fan, but Greg Paks Action run so far has been really enjoyable.

I loved Action Comics and New Avengers. Greg Pak has a great handle on Superman; New Avengers was cognitive and awesome, like it always is. All-New Invaders was decent as well, although some of the dialogue seemed a little ham-fisted to me.

I'm really enjoying Juice Squeezers, by David Lapham, from Dark Horse. Issue #2 came out this week and built the story up nicely. Ms Marvel was also a real score. I loved it, I've talked about why, can't wait for issue #2. Since Avengers Assemble is shutting down I decided to make Mighty Avengers my Marvel team book, so I bought issue #6 this week, which was also really good.

I'm sure I'm with everyone else when I say Ms. Marvel. I haven't finished my pile yet but DUDE. They killed it with that issue. It was funny and well written, as well as being relatable with everyone no matter what race, religion, class, or mindset you have.
I love how they made being Pakistani look normal (as it damn well should) and shined a light on how difficult it can be to be different in our culture.
[SPOILERS] [SPOILERS] One thing that bothered me though: Can anyone figure out why her hair became blond at the end? It seems weird that the whole book was all about equality and being okay with your lifestyle and looks.... but then at the end they change her appearance so much? That made me feel really weird about what their point was. [/SPOILERS] [SPOILERS]

New week, new comics. What were your favorites? What about your picks? Anything stand out? I just realized I hadn't put anything yet. Thanks for reminding me. For me, pretty much everything I read was great. I think Black Widow and The Punisher stood out to me the most (I am a huge Edmonson/The Activity fan so that may be a bit of a cheat) but Lazarus and Green Arrow kill it every month so its hard not to make an argument for them. I also enjoyed Ms. Marvel. But probably -Black Widow -Lazarus -Punisher -Green Arrow would be my order right now. Hard to complain with so much good stuff out there.

That made me feel really weird about what their point was. [/SPOILERS] [SPOILERS] Well considering that in issue 2 it's back to normal I think it was a reaction to the cocoon more than anything. Either it was the reactionary effect of a complete DNA and chemical change which can sometimes lighten hair (Resident Evil 5 logic) or more likely it was the cocoon reacting to her hallucination she had while inside since she also came out in the classic Carol Danvers Ms. Marvel outfit, something else she doesn't keep. It seems to be a common occurrence among Inhumans who have been subjected to the gas. So, hopefully that quenched any doubts/concerns/fears you might have had.
