I've only ever read green lantern. So I know I'm getting only about 20 percent of what that world has to offer. I've really started liking Charles soule so I picked up red lanterns 21 and read up to date. This books is really good and I'm highly intrigued on how supergirl gets a red ring. Now I have to go back and catch up on her series. Anyone else liking this book?

With Daredevil and FF coming to an end I may pick this up. I only read Green Lantern right now and like you I miss out on a hell of a lot of whats going on in that part of the DCU. I'm into Soule right now so I may pick this up, anyone know a good jumping on point that wont require a huge amount of backlog reading? I know theres a flipbook coming out sometime with Green/Red.

Red Lanterns was that book that in the beginning was the "wait what?" of all the Lantern books, the beginning was ok....but after Cornell left the book wasn't that great as it lost direction (and was even worse in the crossovers). Honestly the book has become the best of the Lantern line when Soule took over. So I would recommend picking it up around the time Lights Out begins since it sets up the current status of the Lantern books.

Red Lanterns is probably my favorite out of all the Lantern books. It never fails to make me laugh. Issue 27 was really good and I can't wait to see how this whole thing with Supergirl getting a Red Lantern ring plays out.

I read the first two issues of Soule's run this weekend and i thought it was pretty good. This was actually the first thing i read of Soule's work but i really like his writing.
Only thing i can do without is all the blood vomiting or whatever it is.

I read up till issue 28 and even though i'm not much of a DC reader i think i'm going to keep picking this up. Its one of the more enjoyable DC books ive read in a long time, i really dig the characters and the story and i want to see where its going.I also like the humour in this book, its something that could be really dark but Soule manages to put some funny moments in every issue i've read so far.Good stuff!
