Has anybody else started reading this? I got charmed in at my LCS by the fact they had Issue 1 in stock and to be honest I didn't hate it!
I think something that may be calling me in, is that its the first time I've read anything where Bucky Barnes actually appears as Bucky rather than Winter Soldier and I'm finding i quite fun.

I loved it. Robison's run on Starman is one of my all time favorites. Particularly love the idea of Invaders because of Robinson's personal love for the Golden Age. He had a phenomenal run on the JSA and touched on a lot of the Golden Age in Starman. This book had a very classic feel, even though it takes place in modern times. Plus the team is great! More Hammond PLEASE!

If you heard the show this week, I very much enjoyed the All-New Invaders, and I have to admit to a slight surprise in that Steve and Bobby did as well! I have a long history with Marvel's WW II super-team and Mr. Robinson's JSA work, so I kind-of knew going in that I'd like it, but I'm thrilled that so many readers "new to the party" are on-board as well! Based on the cover to this week's second issue, it looks like Tanalth has the upper hand! (I did an article on the history of The Invaders, if you want to play catch-up: talkingcomicbooks.com/2013/12/09/invaders/ )

Who's got 2 thumbs, an essay due by midnight tomorrow, a 9 and a half hour shift at work tomorrow and somehow managed to read the completely wrong chapters? *points at self Bob Kelso stylee* This Guy!

Khan, I've read some little bits, but as an Earth-Two fanatic, I was always a bit off-put at someone else than Ted Knight wielding the cosmic rod! I have been told that I missed the boat on this one!

The series revolves around the son of Ted Knight assuming the role of Starman after the deaths of his father and brother. It's great stuff. PLUS Tony Harris

I loved it. I discovered the Invaders in Brubaker's run on Cap and thought they were awesome. Cap rules, that's a given and there's obviously no shortage of books with him. But I'm always happy to see more Bucky and Namor, two characters that I love. That being said, I'm glad they focused on Hammond first because outside of his stuff in The Marvels Project by Brubaker and Epting I know nothing about him. Looking forward to more and with the double shipping we wont't have to wait long!

Like many others I'm totally in the dark in regards to the "original human torch", so getting a little bit of a focus on him and easing into a few more familiar characters is working out pretty well. I'm definitely going to continue with this one.

Holy crap I absolutely loved it! I can't wait to pick up issue 2 today and add it to my pull list!

"Fett"
I have it in hand, and it looks to be an amazing second issue! Some cool "deep history" along with the interesting modern story-line!
