I did the same but dropped new avengers for secret avengers
Everything is too BIG and universe shattering
I need it to be more ground to earth

Can someone tell me two Avengers book I can jumpin without knowing anything what happened in infinity? Mighty Avengers and Secret Avengers are pretty isolated in their own section of the Marvel U.

I heard Bob talk about Mighty Avengers on the podcast so i checked out the first 4 or 5 issues and i really like it!
I don't mind the art by Greg Land at all, i understand some of the criticism but i've seen much worse art than his. I also like how much humour it has, how the characters are written and their interaction with each other.
This is a team book done right in my opinion.

"D", I'm glad that you loved it, so spread the word about Mighty Avengers! I'm hearing rumblings that it is on a "death watch", and we wouldn't want to lose this great book!

I've been meaning to get into this series because of how much I like Al Ewing on Loki AoA, and I feel some sympathy with the fans over losing an awesome series because of the recent cancellation of Avengers Undercover (still sobbing), so when I go to the shop today I will pick up the latest issue and see about catching up with the trades. My one sale might not mean much in the grand scheme of things, but maybe it will be the one sale that tips it over the line from cancelled to ongoing!

After you mentioning on the show this week that you heard Mighty Avengers is most likely canceled I decided to see what I could find on it. In the Previews for October Mighty Avengers isn't listed, and in September the description reads that #14 is the Finale for Year One of the book. So maybe it will come back in another volume, but it definitely looks to be coming to an end.

Seems like Bob's infamous curse has struck again!
It sucks that Mighty Avengers is probably going to get cancelled, but since i've been so impressed by it i think i will continue to read it until it ends.

Again!? Okay, that's it. From now on Bob has to speak in code, as someone is clearly just cancelling any book he likes. Bob, next week rave about the awesomeness that is the new Teen Titans book.

Well then,
It does seem that another favored title has fallen under "The Curse"!
The only benefit for you guys is that if I champion a book, you know that you won't get stuck with a long-term commitment!
The down side is that you'll probably love them, but better too few than too many, I say!

That's good news!
Maybe putting Captain America in the title of the book will help increase sales, you never know if that actually is going to happen but the fact that Marvel is at least giving Al Ewing and this series another chance is pretty great.

As in an old prison movie, this does feel like getting a last-minute stay of execution from the Governor whilst strapped into the electric chair!
Al Ewing has already had The Falcon guest star to great effect in this series, so I'm very much looking forward to seeing how makes this all work, particularly Sam's interaction with Luke!
Thanks for the great news!
