Just curious about people's thoughts on the new cyborg book. Just finished reading 1-6 and I'm a little disappointed. it wasn't completely bad just didn't seemed to miss a mark. the time jump around issue 3 was odd and it focused to much on a average plot instead instead of highlighting the good character moments. Also without spoiling to much I thought the development at the end of issue six was just a poor choice for the character. I think the book has massive potential but if the next arc isn't intriguing enough i'll have to drop it, which i would hate because I do want to support this book with a character who was way overdue for a solo ongoing.

Been a bit behind with my reading but I just finished the first for Cyborg series, if I am honest I thought it was just average and I was a tad disappointed. I think the story had a pacing issue in that it moved way too slow. Cyborg has been a character that some fans really pushed to have an ongoing series so I felt this title really needed to explode out of the gates with a interesting faced paced story in order to grab people's attention, unfortunately I don't believe the title succeeded in doing this.
I also had a few issues with some of the art, I felt in places there was just too much going on and individuals and some scenery just blended together and it became a little difficultly to see what was actually going on.
I'm a fan of Cyborg so I will be sticking with it for the next arc, but if there isn't a big improvement I will likely be dropping this title.

i have to agree with jbreen, the story is average at best.. with several issues relating to pacing and dialogue for me. the highlight was the metalmen, if they had been absent i might have dropped it.. let see how the next issue goes

I started reading Cyborg and still pick it up since I just do not see many African American Males having their own title but I have not been enjoying it much and have been waffling on whether I should drop the book.

issues 7 and 8 with the new story arc are actually fantastic. I would recommend continuing if you haven't already. It feels like the story David Walker wanted to get to.

I love the art on this book and some new aspects in Vic's evolution as a character and power-set are very intriguing but the general story so far has left me a touch cold. I am going to continue with the book as I love the concept but when it goes twice-monthly it will need to bring an A game to keep me I'm afraid.
