Really curious to see the May solicits now that I know all this stuff is ending. In May we're also supposed to see (from my insider sources): -Pandora cancelled -Phantom Stranger potentially cancelled -The Movement Cancelled -Larfleeze Cancelled Among some other titles from what I've heard. It seems April/May/June is going to be a lot of endings with books getting a reboot sometime in the late Summer/Fall (September would make sense given the whole anniversary thing). With all the weekly series coming on board it makes sense but still. None of those canacellations are surprising but I feel sorry for Bob with regards to the movement.

A lot of these were expected (when you consider sales and reviews I'd also include Catwoman and Batwing but ya never know with Bat-books) but losing The Movement is a blow. Seems like if you're selling less than 30,000 right now, you're on your way out

Seems like if you're selling less than 30,000 right now, you're on your way out I think from what I've read of my friend's copies of Catwoman, that's a book that needs mercy killed. Movement being cancelled wouldn't shock me, it sold 7,252 copies in December. I mean it got out sold by the DC Comics Essentials reprint of The Watchmen, and I honestly though everyone and their mother had a copy of that. Pandora doesn't shock me, its been too tied to events with the first three being Trinity War tie-ins and issue 6 being the Blight crossover. Plus its a series nobody seemed to want or express any interest in having. (Still it sold 20,563 copies in Dec, so it isn't selling badly. And it is outselling Phantom Stranger by almost 2000 copies.) Sucks about Nightwing being cancelled though.

Otherwise yeah, mercy killing is much needed at this point. I think the big thing with PS and Pandora is that neither book has been able to really stabilize after being tossed from event to event. In fact Pandora, in April, will have had her FIRST non-event crossover story and even that is a "Fallout of Blight" issue. What does that say? If nothing else I predict them just condensing the book into one Trinity of Sin title since the thing lost a lot of its meaning after the crossover ended. Nightwing will be revived/rebooted in some way. If they're rebooting Teen Titans with a new #1...they're doing the same for Nightwing, in one way or another.

Well I excited to see what books DC has coming out in May and beyond. I read somewhere ( I think on the fourm) somewhere that Johns might be starting a Cyborg series. I would like that I have really enjoyed that character in JL. I think there's a lot of depth there to explore and no ones better than Johns at that.

I am really disappointed to hear this about Nightwing. I can only hope that it serves a greater story and isn't just done for shock value or cheap appeal. Its hard to be positive when they cancel your favorite book. grrrr
