I second Bob's call for a horror anthology. I inherited one House Of Mystery from the 90's and thought a monthly might exist but no such luck.
It's a shame DC had to trim their New 52 genre books like Men Of War, and All Star Western is basically no longer a Western. I'd like to see a new angle at a couple of the genres.
Speaking of which; I saw a New 52 Young Romance book. Did anyone read it?

Can I get a solo series for The Question and a investigative journalism solo series for Louis Lane? That's all I'm asking for . You're getting the latter in the form of a one-shot in a few months. Lets see how that sells and I could seriously see that becoming a possibility. I think with The Question its like Shazam. DC knows they're going to do a book with them, but either can't find a team/time to actually make it.

I wanted a classic comedy style Lobo series like his series in the mid ninties but then they did what they did to the character and I realized that would never happen.

The Daily Planet (like Gotham Central) SHAZAM Tim Drake Wally West Doom Patrol Green Arrow/Green Lantern Green Lantern/Flash Booster Gold/Blue Beetle Trinity A Vertigo DC book (like marvel's max line) Martian Manhunter
I like how DC are doing there lesser known characters (c, d and e - list characters) but they really need to start doing there b - list characters (like SHAZAM, martian manhunter and booster gold) more and they will be more successful.

I heard the was an idea that there would be a Robin's book.. featuring all the current/previous robins.. this was when Damain was still alive! that would have been such a great book potential

This, I love Grant Morrisons Doom Patrol run. Would love to see them get a new 52 book. Personally I loved Demon Knights, was gutted when it got cancelled, would love to see a Vandal Savage series, maybe in a Blackadder style showing him through different periods of history.

[...] Speaking of which; I saw a New 52 Young Romance book. Did anyone read it? It was pretty uneven (like many anthologies) with a couple of ok stories and some kinda bad ones. The Batgirl story by Fawkes was pretty good; Andy Diggle's Wonderwoman/Superman story was interesting for bringing in WW's mythological side to the rest of the DCU (and previewing Superman/Wonderwoman, I suppose) but not great.... I seem to recall the Apollo & Midnighter story was decent, too. But, overall, the book was pretty forgettable. There is no way they'd ever get created, but I'd love to see a series (maybe even just a story) focusing solely on Zola & Hera from Azz/Chiang's Wonder Woman. I've said on another site that their interaction when they go out on the town is amazing. Also, with the end of Lemire's Animal Man, & following on #28 a "Animal Girl" series about Maxine would be pretty great. While I got the idea from somewhere else, I'd really be down with a Super Pets book featuring Socks (Animal Man), Titus (Batman & Robin), etc. [who am I forgetting - was there a Krypto story in the new Action Comics? I stopped reading prior to that]. Hey, Bat-cow got her own story in that Batman Inc. special, so add her in there too. And more along the lines of Li'l Gotham! I second a lot of the suggestions already made. DC needs to take chances as Marvel has of late and let creators take on characters they love and editorial needs to stay out of the way. Not everything has to be grim & gritty! Nor does everything have to be in super-tight continuity. While some argue that if isn't in continuity it doesn't "matter" but I see a ridged continuity as both a barrier to entry and limiting factor for creative teams.

Lemire's run is a fully-fleshed out origin already. We'd meet DC halfway and they can jump forward 10 years if they didn't want a child action hero.

I'd like The Wake to start up again. Oh? What is that DC? You'll start it back this week? Thank you! While you're being so agreeable, how about Martian Manhunter?
