For the month of August, the Missfits are reading Scott Snyder and Jock's Wytches volume 1 from Image Comics. Let us know what you think of the book!

Yes!!!!
I loved it; I don't think I've quite seen a color scheme such as this one.

Wytches definitely creeped me out! I was interested in seeing how the story unfolded, but I don't think I could read this month to month. I enjoyed the art, but in a few places I felt that it was a little difficult to discern what was going on.

It reads better to me as a complete story rather than installments. Then again, most comics read better as trades than month-to-month.

I really enjoyed Wytches! It had the right level of creepy and suspense to make me want to turn to the next page. The development of the Father/Daughter relationship between Charlie and Sail throughout Volume 1 was superb. The level of love and regret that Snyder got into the pages was amazing. I agree I couldn't read this as an on gpoing, but will happily trade wait.
