Bob,
I won't say you need to see it, if it doesn't feel right then don't do it, even if you have a free ticket. Having said that i kinda hope you do see it, cause i can't deny that i'm very curious about your opinion.I don't think it makes you a sellout at all.

"That said, in tribute to those two titans, not to mention all the other giants who told FF tales that honored their work, I yearn to be able to provide the larger perspective on what the film does-or-doesn't do right, which will require my presence."to me this ^^ answers the question Bob. Go if only to be able to express an informed opinion instead of relying on others' perspectives. full disclosure, I voted "not a sellout". Yeah the principle of voting with your dollars is violated a bit, but sometimes a single man must rise up and make the tough choices to make sure others are saved from catastrophe or are guided to the promised land... ... and some might call that man a hero... I was going for stirring speech... did it work? How about this one: With great podcasting power comes great responsibility... ... to go see the movie the rest of us are afraid to so you can tell us whether it's good or just an affront unto the lord... Troy, That was a rousing speech, and those sorts of sentiments have me considering going to the theatre..."considering" still being the operative word!

The need to do the "next right thing" (to quote Kelly Sue's Captain Marvel #15!) runs strong in me; the trouble here is that I can't quite figure what that "right thing" is!

Just because I do like to think of myself as the Devil sat on people's shoulders [ala Tom & Jerry + many other cartoons]
How about if Bob goes to the cinema to watch this so he can review it on the show... I will pay twice that amount to the charity of his choice!
Bwaaaaaaahhh haaaaaaaaa haaaaarrrrrrrr!!!

Is it just me, or does this film seem more like Black Science the movie?
