I guess the only one that comes to mind is Hinterkind, it hasn't gotten much love from reviewers. I'm in it for the weird creatures of myth. Always a sucker for that stuff i've been rather enjoying that book as well, so i suppose there's one of my guilty pleasures right there! don't know how long i'll keep it up for, the story and the world are fun enough, but the art hasn't really grabbed me yet. will probably drop it after the end of this first arc, unless the story / writing really picks up the pace, and compensates for the lacklustre art... my really guilty pleasure is Magic: the Gathering comics! they are generally dreadful, but i can't help picking one up if i see one in my LCS. plus, i'm a sucker for the promo cards they ship with

I found one!
Sex by Joe Casey. I really like the premise of the retired crime fighter. This book makes sex criminals look tame when it comes to the titles subject matter....

I've been reading through the first trade and really enjoying it. Count this as another book I'll have to hide very carefully from my kids for a long time.

Its funny because when writing my Introduction, I listed Indestructible Hulk as my guilty pleasure comic lol. I never ever hear about this series on this podcast or any other for that matter. The first arc was pretty bad with the Atuma stuff and I can see that a metal time suit wearing time travelling Hulk could be a turn off to some but I enjoyed the heck out of the Agent of TIME arc. Where can you see the Hulk punch a T Rex in the face then ride another into battle and then fight alongside the Black Knight and King Arthur! And in both of those issues, there were 2 different 2 page spreads that I just stared at in awe for about 5 minutes each. It was awesome! I think I even looked to see if the original art was available for purchase!

My guilty pleasure for a while was Detective Comics. I read it for a while and was never really sure why I kept buying it. I cut it from the list finally a few issues ago though.

What was funny was all the assistant scientist they introduced in like the first arc, but were never to be mentioned again.... If they would've stuck with the whole Bruce Banner trying to become better than Tony Stark and Reed Richards and compromising to get ahead through S.H.E.I.L.D it would've been a much better series.

I agree Cap. They kind of went into a decent amount of detail on the back stories of the scientists so I thought that they were going to become more of a plot point but definitely got left out. Other than the one girl who has the disease and wanted to put herself in danger. I am curious to see where this goes and am also disappointed that with the Inhumanity crossovers that they are having because the main storyline is being lost in the mix. Makes it even harder to continue buying a $3.99 book every month to get a story that you half get because you arent buying the other titles when there are so many $2.99 Image books with amazing stories and art.

Its got to be Thunderbolts (marvel now). It started so bad, but I stuck with it because I was a huge Punisher fan. Thankfully Charles Soule has saved the book and taken it into a more comedic direction! I haven't missed an issue yet!

I like in one of the recent issues where punisher and venom were talking about fighting ice giants and venom says "you can't kill them, they're gods!" and punisher replies something along the lines of "I can kill anything, I'm the f*@!king punisher!"

Did you read the Annual? I loved the ending with Punisher and the Dr Strange impersonator "this is what makes me happy!" So Funny!

Thunderbolts may have gotten a lot of flack but I genuinely enjoy it and have gotten a lot of laughs. Even the really bad issues still have funny moments.

I defended Thunderbolts on the show several months ago, I sent an email and Bobby read it out. Bob apologised for bashing it every time it was read out on the weeks releases section. I can't remember which episode though!

Another hilarious moment from that annual was Deadpool's response to the mission of killing Dr. Strange: "Yes! That is awesome!" In my mind, I heard Sean William Scott delivering that same line in Old School after Will Farrell shoots a tranquilizer into his neck. Very funny book. As for guilty pleasures, I guess the current volume of Uncanny X-Force is that for me. It's really not that good but I'm just a sucker for Psylocke. If she wasn't in it I would have dropped it long ago.
