As some may be aware I've been using this service in writing my avengers blog (www.comicdork.wordpress.com) since late last year. I continue to be amazed at how great these comics are and how utterly Marvel doesn't care whether it works or not. My primary complaints fall into these categories:
Missing issues: Randomly in runs which appear to be complete will have random few issues left out. Especially frustrating when said issues are already available on comixology.
Incomplete loading of issues: Issues will fail to load properly or at all. Sometimes restarting the app or the device will correct the problem, but often not.
Increasing library of older comics: While the six-month-old issues get uploaded on schedule, I haven't noticed the back issue library increasing at any appreciable rate.
Customer Service (or lack thereof): Customer service is bad in a way that clearly communicates a lack of commitment. We're talking about a company which has produced some of the top grossing films in the past few years, yet it can take weeks to receive responses to relatively simple queries. Furthermore, these responses are frequently form letters, with little or no solutions.
Read Offline: Hasn't ever worked in my experience
Really be interested to hear what others say.

The app/service definitely has some issues, but the concept is pretty great. I have some of the same issues with the gaps in titles and loading issues. Inititially I had issues with the read offline part, if you go into the library after you add them to the read offline list and make sure they download it seems to work fine.

been using it for about 9 months now. the missing issues is definitely annoying. I have had the loading problem and I usually fix it by killing the app and restarting it. The library of older stuff doesn't really seem to be growing, which is a total bummer. haven't dealt with customer service, so can't say anything about that. I've used the read offline feature a lot, especially when I went on vacation last year in the UP where I was out in the woods with no internet. I could go down to the coffee shop in town and download 12 books, read them after everyone went to bed, and do it again the next day. I haven't used it recently, so I can't remember exactly what the deal was, but I remember it not being entirely intuitive. seems like there was an "add to library" option and an actual "download" option. I think you had to add it to your library and then download it from the library screen. all in all it has been absolutely worth every penny, bugs and all. I have read SO MANY comics in that damn thing

Sure there are some minor problems with Marvel Unlimited, but in my opinion the good far outweighs the bad. I was pretty pissed a couple of weeks ago when i wanted to read a series but i could only read the first couple of issues, the rest of it wouldn't load. But if i look at all the books i did read on Unlimited in the year and a half that i have it i have got to say its definitely worth it, even with all the bugs.
I have just renewed my subscription for another year, and i am now just getting started with the Bendis/Maleev Daredevil run(excellent run btw) and that's a big run, so i'm glad i get to read it for only 10 euro's a month, instead of buying every single issue or all the trades.

I heard this year the yearly sub is going up to $70 from $60. At $5/month last year it was totally worth it, and I think it will continue to be worth it at $5.83/month heck, for that I could only buy 1 current marvel title a month!

Yeah i pretty much feel the same way. I was actually mistaken when i said it costs me 10 euro's a month, its even less than that with the yearly subscription

Does anyone have any experience with Marvel Unlimited on the iPhone 6 plus? My old, first generation iPad has finally gotten to the point where it can't handle it (and the recent, improvement updates didn't even support the old iOS) and I've got an upgrade coming up on my cell phone plan. Really, Marvel Unlimited is the only reason I'm looking at getting the 6 Plus over the 6.
Also, you're not going to talk me out of getting an iPhone, Android guys ;-)
