I don't think I can read East of West month to month. I tried, but I'm lost every time I pick up a new issue after not having read for a while.
That said, it's easily in my top 5 current comics. It's just much, much better in trade.

So I finally pulled the trigger on East of West and it totally consumed my reading list for about a week... That book is Insane! As for Hickman's other work, I really enjoyed his F4/FF stuff and now I'm finishing up his avengers run. I don't really enjoy reading his work month to month, I much prefer consuming it in large chunks.

I agree. His avengers is a prime example. It literally took 2-3 years for certain things to pay off. In retrospect, I don't know why I kept buying avengers. I guess it's and old habbit

I've pretty much loved his entire work except for Pax Romana. I'm a mark for him.I agree some of the stuff can take a while to fully enjoy...I would recommend Dying & The Dead if you want instant gratification. It's really good after only 2 issues.

I love East of West, hate Manhattan Projects and need a few more issues to decide on Dying and the Dead. Plus he has written the best Avengers books I´ve ever read.
But I love Hickman because he seems so genuine in Interviews, whenever he gives one.
