Who's reading The Movement? I'd love to hear what people are thinking about this book.
Personally I'm having a lot of fun reading a new team from a fantastic writer.
I think Virtue is one of my favourite things about the New 52. She's a shoe-in for a Green Lantern crossover at some point too.

Hey there, I am reading this book. It is really good, and I find it unique within the batman and superman plus justice league overwhelmed dc world
Love mouse, virtue and vengeance moth

Well, I most certainly am!
The Movement was my favorite new series of the year, and quickly became a favorite--period!
Amazing characterizations from Gail Simone are the norm, but that I so instantly fell for these new heroes was stunning even to me! Let's not forget Freddie Williams' art, which is so perfect for this series--a touch of the DC "house style" but lighter enough to keep the proceedings from being too grim. which considering the goings-on in Coral City, might have been a problem with a different artist!
I'm so very glad that you guys are enjoying this fabulous new bbok--spread the word!

Great to hear from you both Freddie Williams' art is gorgeous, Mr Bob. I'm a big fan of his panelling style, and I'm having trouble imagining these characters being drawn by anyone else. Saying that, I really loved #8's cover by Juan Doe. Consider the word spread by "Bob's Movement Movement".

i'm loving this series, recently picked up the first 7 issues just before xmas after Bobs constant praise on the podcast. Can't believe I didn't pick it up sooner, as it's the sort of thing right up my street. Great story, really likeable characters. I've got a good friend with muscular dystrophy,so Vengence Moth is a character I have a particular affinity for. Freddie Williams art is awesome. Up until now the story has benefitted in the way Wonder Woman does as being kept seperate to the rest of the DC universe. It will be interesting to see where they go with Batgirl.

There's a strong possibility I pick this up today when I go to get my books later. It's going to depend what my LCS has for back issues. I hope they have them all!!

My attempts at Movement bliss were thwarted by my LCS. Apparently they don't even order it anymore. The only back issue they had was #3. I guess I'll just have to wait for a trade.

That is too bad, and I'm sorry you got your expectations up only to be disappointed. I guess you could try to catch up digitally, but I think a trade will read particularly well for this series.

Does anyone know if the first trade has come out yet? According to Amazon, the first trade comes out May 27 and will include issues 1-6. But sometimes LCS can get the book a bit sooner than online retailers. Image tends to do a great job getting trades out pretty quickly, but not so much with DC here.

I think Maybe I'll just put the order in for all the issues at my LCS. Its a $2.99 book so the 8 issues will only cost $24, not terrible. This story better be worth it Bob!

Well, Bob can obviously speak to the book's quality better than I can, but think of it as a public service you're doing to help keep a great book afloat.

Its weird, I saw that issue #1 sold nearly 30,000 issues. Its sad to think that sales have dropped so much for it over recent months. I'm going to put the order in next Wednesday and have it added to my pull list. Just doing my part lol

I was quite lucky and found the first 6 issues for 50p each in a sale pile of books my shop was trying to get rid of, so was basically $3 for the lot of them. Bargain of the year for me.

congrats... good buy!! i read mine digitally and from what I understand digital purchase do not count towards monthly sales figures... but with the movement down to 7K copies sold in December I think cancellation is looming... we need to help people to buy the book!!
