So yeah, this has to be the most enjoyable comic of the year, right? I haven't had so much fun reading a comic in a long time. If there's one series I hope spins out of Multiversity it's this one. Don't think I've ever read Grant Morrison having so much fun, it didn't have the usual Grant Morrison "Let's screw with the readers head" vibe, which I love, but this was so unexpected. And the artwork!!! Even if Grant Morrison doesn't write another Shazam/Captain Marvel book ever again, as long as Cameron Stewart is on art I'm there.

It was fantastic, but i don't think that kind of book is ever going to come out. Alot of us liked it, but i honestly don't think a book like that can survive in todays market, sadly/ Atleast we got that, it was a fun read, one i will for sure go back to.

My review from the site: talkingcomicbooks.com/2014/12/21/multiversity-thunderworld-adventures-review/Obviously, I agree with henrythemorerecent, but I can also feel the despair of Jonathan. But there is room developing for work like this. Look at the digital direct work of DC (Adventures of Superman, Sensation Comics), and the acceptance of more stylized or "cartoony" art in the big 2 and across the independents. It's a fine line, though, finding the sweet spot between a nostalgia fest and a more modern "darker grittier" Shazam. I don't usually follow sales numbers, I would be curious about this one.

Honestly this was my very first Shazam comic : ) I liked it and it was a joy to read. Very innocent feel compared to what is out today. I have to admit I liked Pax better, but this whole series has been very cool.

This book is a real treat to long time fans, almost brings a tear to my eye. It's a tease. Atleast we know dc is capable of giving us a taste of what alot of us lovers of the old school, love.
