So this was pretty damn good. Especially if you haven't read much valiant stuff. It gives you everything you need to know.

Yeah, it was awesome. I think Bloodshot is going to get some much needed growth, and Lemire and Kindt are ones I trust to do it. Kindt's other Valiant work has been great as well.

It's really quite stellar. This makes me really excited for the next coming titles, too. Valiant took the next leap in quality.

This is the first Valiant book i picked up beside the first Quantum and Woody trade. I enjoyed it enough to read the rest and maybe read some other Valiant books. I'm interested in this Bloodshot fellow, who i think Jeff Lemire is going to be writing an ongoing for.

I'm interested in this Bloodshot fellow, who i think Jeff Lemire is going to be writing an ongoing for. When I started Valiant a couple years ago I was sure that bloodshot was going to be the worst and least interesting, but after reading for twenty-odd issues I'd say he's among my favorite. His concept is neat and they do some interesting things with it. In some ways he's a little like deadpool (what with the unkillable thing and mental problems) but they sort of go in other directions. His book doesn't shy away from humor, but it isn't anywhere near a comedy book. Lemire should have a lot of fun with him.
