Spiderman 2 is out soon but I have my concerns with all the characters (villians) then seem to be cramming in. I hope I am wrong and that it is a great film.

I really enjoyed the first movie and I'm excited. I'm curious about what they're going to do with Peter and Gwen too. SO MUCH TO FIND OUT!

What did you guys make of Andrew Garfield?
Dude is charming. As Parker and Spiderman. Sassy.

I actually really loved Amazing Spider-Man. Garfield/Stone worked really well together and I'm excited for the second film. The only thing I worry about is villain cramming. Between Green Goblin, Rhino, Electro, a potential Sinister Six reveal and possibly other cameos I don't want the film to get bogged down like Spider-Man 3 was. But I'm hopeful.

I loved the amazing Spider-Man and think Andrew Garfield and Emma stone were brilliant. I too am worried about the amount of bad guys appearing as Electro looks bad ass!!. It would be criminal to not give the character the screen time he deserves in respect to how good a Spider-Man villain he is. Hated how Venom was shoe horned into spidey 3 when he deserved such a bigger stage. They had a great character, a great actor, (love topher grace) and about 20 minutes film time!!!! Why??!!!!

Yeah, he's really grown as an actor in the past couple years and it seems like he's getting better and better with each role. I have no doubt that he'll be great come ASM2

I've just got a feeling that this film is gonna be good and that all the baddies teased are not gonna be as prominent in the main story as they look in the trailer. Fingers crossed any way :-)

Loved the first one, but not so sure about all these villains in the upcoming one. Although they said that they just wanted to introduce these characters now and have them take center stage in the third and fourth ASM movies.

Although they said that they just wanted to introduce these characters now and have them take center stage in the third and fourth ASM movies. I wish they would be more concerned with the movie that is coming out now instead of the movie that isn't even in the works yet. Instead of introducing all these villains, introduce one and build from there. It's like they're using this movie as a trailer for the other movies. They're building up to the sinister six quite quickly instead of it being a slow process like it should be. I almost feel like if they want to introduce this many characters it would work so much better as a TV show. If only TV could get the same budget as theater.

I don't really think there's anyway they can make the same mistake they made with Spiderman 3 in this film. Not only is that film comepletely notorious for being to full and all in all a pretty bad hero movie, but it's also a SPIDERMAN movie. When looking over the now long line of hero movies and what they've done wrong and right, there's no way the creators of Amazing Spiderman 2 can overlook such a problem movie, let alone one sharing the same title. To me it looks like the rhino will be an opening sequence villian to introduce you into Spidermans new kind of "veteran" place in NYC and little else. Electro will be the main villian and the Goblin with be a smaller issue to setup for the third film. Obviously this is just my speculation but to me that would be the smartest way to do it. There's always a good chance that I'm too hopeful and Hollywood will once again repeat the same mistakes over and over for movies that should be good, but the first of this series was so much better than the originals, I feel like I have to give it the benefit of the doubt.

As long as there's no Peter Parker dancing down the street doing hair flips and finger pointing at people like the Fonz I'm happy.
